Effective Methods to Accurately Check Meeting Availability

·
·

Anyone has the best ways to check availability? The use case is someone emails me a time to meet, and I want to check my calendar to see if it’s available and then follow up via email confirming the meeting. About 80% of the time, it says I’m available when I’m not and vice versa

I've had to increase model intelligence when this happens

yeah I’d try a smarter model too. did you try our Meeting Scheduler Template? works pretty much out of the box - and you can us it to model stuff for your workflow

Marvin A. Yes, I have, and this would be the workflow to “schedule event” but it doesn’t check availability first which is where I’m stuck

Brandon S. I used Claude 3.5 Sonnet. The issue I was having was there were times where the dates to check were unclear, so the smarter model was able to pick out the specific time slots to check.

But if the times are clearly articulated and the only option, its a bit odd that Gemini Flash or 4o mini wouldn't be able to get it

Brandon S. If the issue persists lmk —happy to look into it. (would require the task URL)
