Issues with Inbound Phone Bot Creating Duplicate Tasks

·
·

Hi! I've set up an inbound phone bot that follows the template. Whenever I make a phone call initially, I see 2 tasks appearing instead of 1, and the conversation fails because it says I need a business plan to run 2 phone concurrent calls. Any idea what I'm missing? Thanks!

Might be worth saying that the phone number allocated was previously allocated to another phone agent that I have since then disabled, thought I would just need to wait but looks more complex

looks like it was indeed a temporary error, solved now :)

Weirdly, you can make a call to the bot, it will fail to answer the phone, task will appear as pending for quite a bit, then eventually work again and let me make another call. Looks like some calls are being suspended. After 5mn of this task running, I got: “We’re experiencing high demand, your request will start momentarily.“, which i guess is due to resources exhausted on the server or something similar

and just a quick layout issue, when you paste a phone number in the field to transfer a phone call, it’s not aligned properly with the input field 🙂

But it aligns when you click on save

Hey Michael, thx for the feedback and sharing the journey! The 5 min suspension issue is something I’d be curious about! Let me know if this continues to happen. If yes, pls share a task URL where I can ideally see the issue!

How to share your Lindy task URL: 1. Click your Lindy agent → click “tasks” 2. Find the task you need help with 3. Click the specific task (you should see the full execution) 4. Copy that page URL from your browser 5. Paste the URL in your support request Note: The URL should include “conversationID” followed by a number 💡 Screenshots are also helpful!

Hey Mael, we’ve pushed a couple fixes yesterday that might have impacted this. Looking through your latest tasks —it looks like it’s been working for you. Can you confirm it’s working again on your end?

Yes I had it working on my end, my colleague reported that the phone didn’t pick up for him, might have been in the middle of the deployment. Will revert back if I notice anything wrong 🙂 Thanks!
