Lindy → Notion: New Database Items Are Created Empty (Property Mapping Fails) I’m having a persistent issue when using Lindy to create new items in a Notion database. Problem
Lindy successfully creates a new database item (page),
But all properties are empty — only a blank item is created.
Lindy reports something like a “property ID / property mapping” issue.
What I’ve Tried
Used both property names and property IDs as parameters.
Double-checked property IDs via URL and Notion API.
Tested with only the Title field.
Tried different field types (text, select, date, relation).
Reconnected the Notion integration and refreshed the database schema.
Observations • Even when property IDs are correct, values are not written. • Sometimes only the page is created, but no fields are filled. • It feels like Lindy either: Can’t pass parameters correctly to Notion’s createDatabaseItem, or Silently drops fields when the format doesn’t match exactly. Question Has anyone experienced this?
Is this a known limitation or bug in Lindy’s Notion integration?
Are there any working patterns (for example: only using property names, or avoiding certain field types)?
Is there a reliable way to debug what Lindy actually sends to Notion?
Any shared experience or workaround would really help.
