Sorry Marvin A. I have one more question - I have the option in the Slack Send Channel Message action to set the “Send From User Account” but I don’t see that option in the Slack Send Message action. Is there a way to define the profile name of the Slack chat bot?
Super helpful, thanks Marvin A.! By looking at your video, I saw that my problem was in the “follow-up message behavior” option in the Slack Message Received trigger, I had selected “create a new task” rather than “handle in same task”. Thanks!
Marvin A. can I resurrect this one? I am seeing the same thing - I only have the option to “Send Channel Message” or “Send Direct Message”, neither of which results in a response being sent in a thread as demonstrated in the https://www.lindy.ai/academy-lessons/slackbot video.
