Hey team — I ran into an issue using the Elon Lindy agent. It got stuck in a loop trying to make a phone call. The call never actually rang, but it kept retrying endlessly and ended up burning through 1,000+ credits for nothing. 😬 Is this a known bug? I’m now hesitant to use the phone call feature again — what if it loops and drains the account? I couldn’t find a way to force-stop or kill the task. Nothing I tried seemed to work. What am I missing? Is there a way to safely terminate a task that gets stuck like this?
How to share your Lindy task URL: 1. Click your Lindy agent → click “tasks” 2. Find the task you need help with 3. Click the specific task (you should see the full execution) 4. Copy that page URL from your browser 5. Paste the URL in your support request Note: The URL should include “conversationID” followed by a number 💡 Screenshots are also helpful!
hey yatin! no bug here. the llm was not super smart at first but in the end it delegated to the caller and executed just fine.
consumed around 500 credits for all the calls made (the template can definitely be a bit optimised since it’s been a while since we set this up 😄 → here are some tips for reducing costs in case that’s helpful!
