Troubleshooting Workflow Saving Issues: Tips to Avoid Deletion

Hello, I'm having some trouble with saving my workflows. I save them, but sometimes it completely delete the workflow. Basically everytime i save i'm gambling on the fact that it will delete all my workflow or not. Also, if i click on "discard changes" when it asks me if i want to save the changes i made, it will completely delete the workflow, so i'm forced to click on "Save" It already happened various times, can't find a way to avoid it and it is pretty frustrating.
