Image quota error despite having credits left: how to resolve and understand limits?

HI Everyone, I'm getting an error saying my image quota has been reached. I still have over 2,000 credits left so I don't mind paying to generate them. Has anyone come across this error before? or have any information about when these quotas are replenished or how many images you are allowed to generate?
