Setting Up AI Agent for Structured User Information Collection

Hi, how can I set up my AI Agent to collect user information during a conversation. I want a structured placeholder for each field to reduce data errors. e.g, date placeholder can only accept date field, numeric placeholder for only numerics etc. This will then be passed to the Agent for processing

potentially you could also solve it with a code block that checks each value for its type but since we have LLM’s I’d rather use a good prompt 🙂

I’d prompt it to do that using a JSON structure and defining each value type.
