Streamline Your Inbox with a Custom Email Agent

·
·

Rolando N. Hey Rolando! Totally get that — inboxes can be overwhelming, especially with your schedule. Yes, Lindy can absolutely help with that. You can set up a custom email agent that:

  • Monitors your inbox 24/7

  • Replies to routine or low-priority messages

  • Flags and forwards urgent ones

  • Even sends you a text summary or real-time SMS for anything critical

You can train it on your tone, give it “if-this-then-that” instructions, and connect it with your calendar or patient workflows too. Let me know if you want help setting it up or customizing the flow — happy to guide you through it!

Rolando N. Awesome! Let’s get you set up 🎯 Step 1: I’ll just need a few quick details from you to personalize the agent: • What email provider do you use (e.g., Gmail, Outlook)? • What types of emails should the agent auto-respond to? • What do you consider urgent enough to trigger a text? • Preferred tone/style of your replies (formal, friendly, etc.) Once I have that, I’ll help configure your custom email agent with priority filters, smart replies, and SMS alerts. Let’s do this 💪

Alright, let’s do this. • I use Gmail. • The agent should auto-respond to casual stuff, handyman questions, friends, wife, driving violations, maybe kids school-related crap unless its about them being in trouble. • Anything urgent or time-sensitive triggers a text. • Preferred tone: friendly, not formal.

Any chance Lindy can buy and send my mom flowers on her birthday?

Rolando N. Love this, Rolando — you’re thinking ahead like a true delegation pro 😄 Gmail support — all good. We'll set up your Lindy agent to monitor, auto-respond, and trigger SMS alerts for anything marked urgent or time-sensitive. Tone — got it: friendly, casual, not too formal. 💵 Cost? If you’re already on a Lindy plan, this setup falls under what's possible with your current usage (depending on the number of messages/SMS per month). We’ll keep it lightweight to start, and you can always scale later. 🌸 Sending flowers to your mom? Believe it or not — yes, we can do that! Lindy can:

    • Save the birthday in memory

    • Find a flower delivery service (like 1-800-Flowers, DoorDash, etc.)

    • Generate the message + execute the order via API or webhook

    We’ll just need:

    • Your preferred delivery service

    • Location/address + delivery date

    • Budget range

Let’s build your dream assistant. First, I’ll configure the core email agent now — then we’ll layer on the birthday automation next!

Rolando N. Wow — that’s the best kind of feedback I’ve ever gotten 🙌 Alright, now I’m officially treating this agent like it’s prepping for a VIP launch 👑 Let’s make it magic — core email automation first, and flowers for Mom queued up next 💐

Hey Rolando N.! Just to add — I actually build these custom setups myself, and I’ve designed an approach tailored for situations like yours. I noticed you mentioned wanting an SMS when an urgent email comes in. The way I’ve handled that is: instead of just sending a text, the system automatically marks any urgent email as important and shifts it to a dedicated "Important Mail" section. That way, you don’t need to dig through your inbox — just open that section and you're good. If that workflow makes sense to you, we can totally set it up. And if you'd still prefer SMS or another alert method, we can definitely do that too. Totally up to your preference!
