Best Practices to Avoid Integration Disconnections in Task Management

·
·

How often do you have to reconnect integrations? My Google connection expired with no prior notice right as my boss was scheduling a meeting, and Lindy did not complete the task. I got the email saying to reconnect, but I'd like to plan ahead next time so it doesn't expire mid-task.

Hey Dani L.! Would you mind sharing the task URL with me so we can look into this? How to share your Lindy task URL: 1. Click your Lindy agent → click “tasks” 2. Find the task you need help with 3. Click the specific task (you should see the full execution) 4. Copy that page URL from your browser 5. Paste the URL in your support request Note: The URL should include “conversationID” followed by a number 💡 Screenshots are also helpful! Thx!

It's not really about the specific task though. How often do integrations expire so I can set a reminder to check them before it happens next time? Or is this a random thing?

Thanks Dani L. !! So here is what I got back from the engineering team. Typically auth shouldn’t expire on its own, though we’re not 100% in control of when it happens. For example

    • If you change your google password, that’ll revoke your Google connection

    • If you manually desync the lindy account, that’ll revoke the auth

    • Sometimes google may decide to invalidate for opaque reasons
