Issue with Email Forwarding to Lindy: Need Assistance

I am having trouble with Lindy receiving my emails. when I email the lindy address directly the trigger for them receiving said email works great. When I filter an email to lindy from gmail it fails. I know the filter is set up correctly as I have tested it with another email account. Is there a chance that I have encountered some weird bug? I can't think why else this would fail other than somehow I need to confirm that the Lindy address can receive Gmail forwards. I have emailed lindy but figured I would check here too.
