Need Help with Copied Workflow Modifications and Ticket Status

I am not sure if he logged the ticket or not, I can not make changes to a copied agent, without making changes to the parent workflow, when I try to change the copied flow, it edits the original, which I dont want it to do. Have pasted the proper IDs into the chat agent, but no joy. Any guidance would be much appreciated, as it has been 2 weeks now.
