Understanding 'Resync Knowledge Base' Action with Dynamic URLs

·
·

I have a question about the 'resync knowledge base' action If i have a Lindy where it runs through a 'search KB' action (which uses a URL as its KB source), will the Lindy go and check the contents of that URL every time? For eg, if i run the lindy today, and then tomorrow add some new content to the webpage, and then run the lindy again tomorrow night, will the Lindy go and check the content of the URL again (and hence see the new content that got added), or will the Lindy recall the content from its last run (and hence not see any additional content added to the URL in the time since). Just unsure if i need to add a 'Resync KB' action before a 'search KB' action if I'm using a URL where the content on that webpage may change from time to time

George! The KB auto-refreshes every 24h, but if you need real-time updates, you can use:

    • Resync Knowledge Base (refreshes everything)

    • Resync Knowledge Base Entry (refreshes specific entries)

For your question—Lindy doesn’t check the URL every time. It pulls from the last indexed version. So if the webpage updates and you want Lindy to see the new content, you’ll need to add a Resync KB action before the Search KB action.
