Image Generation Techniques for Blog Publishing in Lindy

what are folks doing for image generation inside Lindy? looking to generate an image for a blog then use that for the publish... any action nodes people have had success calling and getting the image back in the same flow (versus kicking off a job then having to retrieve from another service like Replicate or something like it)?

I know Ali A. solved this using the code block sends a http req to OpenAI’s imagegen, stores it in the cloud and from there you can work with the url iirc (pls correct me if I am wrong Ali 😄 )

Here is my Lindy: https://chat.lindy.ai/home/?templateId=683c82dad7ea900b45b5ea6d You can copy it if you'd like - if you do you can go to the code node and simply add your openai api (please note that openai requires verification to use the image gen api - super quick process through openai when you get your api key)

Thanks Ali A. for sharing this Lindy. Marvin A. I'm a bit surprised that image generation is not yet easier to do in Lindy, as I would imagine this is a fairly common use case for various workflows. Ali A. I am wondering if in your code Backblaze could be swapped out for Google Drive, which would allow other Lindy-friendly integrations. Tks again!

adding a +1 to this since I was in a training session yesterday with 20 folks and image generation came up there as well... anyway, I understand how roadmap prioritization goes, just throwing some more data on this feature request

Hi all, If the integration issue is more generally the ability to pull down a temporaily generated URL from an API and save the file somehwhere before using the file in further steps of the workflow, then that would seem to apply not just to image generation tools but more broadly and would limit the use of other pipeline integrations (for example I have tried to do this with multiple image generators available via the pipeline connector and seem to keep facing the same roadblock). Would be terrific if this could eventually be resolved, as it would open up many possibilities. Thanks as ever.

Same obstacle for pulling and using a temp ElevenLabs text to speech URL for example?
