my lindy won't respond to my test chat message. I went through the setup guide multiple time and I can't get it to work. I don't think she likes me.😪
You started in test mode here. Start test mode → go back to testing modal and select the message that showed up → this will enable the test to reply 🙂

Hey jared —so in the video you are typing into the testing modal. But you want the Lindy to reply to you via the chat embed (which it did, you can see that in the test view 🙂 ) So in order to see that reply → open up the Embed where you typed in “hi”

Well I thought it was working great. It’s stuck on the email and phone number step. It seems pretty clear as in all the other steps. It is responding in the testing chat but not the embed chat.
the agent step will need a little more guidance as to when to exit (and not respond internally) e.g. “Exit immediately after you updated the sheet” → you could also replace it with a google sheets action in this case
I did an agent bc I wasnt sure how to specify what needs to be done on a google sheet step...it doesn't give me a prompt option to tell the sheet what to do. Also, I wasn't sure it would handle it if pointed all the exit conditions to it.
i dont understand why it responds in different windows and not others. I understand when its a Lindy response in the task window. But I don't understand why it responds in the test box but not in the embed box.
Also it didnt actually create the calendar event (but said it did) or slack notification
