Google Docs Update Document Error: Export Size Limit Explained

I've been getting this error on the "Update Document" Google Docs action quite a lot recently:

This file is too large to be exported. Response: { "error": { "code": 403, "message": "This file is too large to be exported.", "errors": [ { "message": "This file is too large to be exported.", "domain": "global", "reason": "exportSizeLimitExceeded" } ] } }

For one...what IS the export size limit?
