Request for Default Manual Setting in Airtable Integration

I just want to check Marvin A. if there’s been any movement on making the default “Manual” IF you select “Make all manual” for something like airtable. I’d say this is probably the biggest pain point I experience - becuase it makes it almost impossible to use Lindy to write to any database we use (because whenever we add a new field we either A) Don’t know what is going to be put there or B) We have to go through every one of our airtable nodes and change it that touch that table.)

IT’s super painful - everytime I add a new field (which is a pretty comomon behavior for anyone changing a database) then it defaults to auto. For many integrations - like with airtable - if you give the wrong input then the step stops.

So in this case, I have dozens of nodes where I need to manually go and check otherwise my entire lindy breaks.

I really can’t say enough how painful this is for a user - it means that effectively you can not work between Airtable and Lindy unless you want to keep your airtable static for all of time.

Otherwise, anytime you change the airtable then the Lindy will break because often times in airtable (like with other databases) you are creating records that link to one another. But, if record link is “Auto” (as I have in the above exmaple. Then AI will give a random value, that value will not be a valid record id, and then entire airtable step will stop as weill the lindy.
