Hello Lindy Team, I hope you're all doing well! I'm currently building a model that functions as an email recorder: whenever Lindy is CC’d on an email, it should automatically capture the entire thread and archive it into the corresponding company folder within Google Drive. The goal is to ensure that each communication is saved as an AI-readable Google Doc, properly tagged with metadata, and grouped under its original email subject to maintain continuity and build a comprehensive institutional memory for future reference and summarization. The issue I’m running into is with the “create folder” action. According to Lindy’s chatbot, the problem lies in how the subfolder is being created:
"I intended to create a subfolder inside the Company folder...However, when I triggered the folder creation, the system removed the parentId parameter, and as a result, the folder defaulted to being created at the root of the Shared Drive instead of being nested within the Company folder."
Could someone help me identify what I might be doing wrong? I’d love to hop on a quick call if needed to determine whether this is a bug or a misconfiguration on my part.
