Fixing Duplicate Email Responses from Your Simple Email Agent
Tech API help needed! I have this super duper simple email agent that receives an inquiry, checks knowledge base and replies to the user. It's worked for ages no problems but now it's creating two identical tasks when triggered and sending two similar replies to each user. I've gone through 2hours of back and forth with Lindy Agent Builder to try diagnose and fix this (way too much time for such a simple agent) and tried and failed to fix it with the following: โ Remove parallel Lindy Embed trigger โ Clarify conditioning โ Remove conditioning โ Change prompt details โ Change from Handle in same task to Create new task โ Add delay timer (shown) I've stripped it right back and nothing works to stop it sending duplicate email responses. Lindy Agent Builder thinks it's a duplicate API trigger from Gmail (hence adding the delay timer) but is now telling me to contact Lindy support.
