Referral link directs to paid plan signup instead of free plan

Hey there I’ve used my referral link and it’s asking my client to sign up for paid plan not the free plan. Is there a reason why it’s not letting me sign up for free? https://try.lindy.ai/reclaimcreative

okay thanks I also thought they get 5,000 starting credits?

Hey Daniela! Thanks for following up -- In order to use the Lindy platform, users have to sign up for a free Pro plan trial (the pro plan is a paid plan). Users will need to add their credit card. Having said that, users can change to the free plan before the end of the free pro plan trial, so they are not charged when switching over to a plan after the 7 days

right, was this changed recently? I don’t recall having to add my details when I first signed up for free. Just wondering as this will be a friction point as I start building agents for new clients who want to have a test the platform first before committing

Hey Daniela - I think there may have been a bug previously where users could skip the free trial, but the intention was users are required to go through the free trial.

i see so if we have a referral link what is the benefit of them using our referral code vs signing up on their own
