Advice Needed on Formatting Google Docs with Markdown Templates

Hello everyone! I am trying to generate nicely spaced and formatted proposals (with appropriate spacing, bullets, numbered lists) with the Create Google Doc from Template function; I found a support article on using Markdown for achieving this effect: https://community.lindy.ai/x/support/00w4rfc8ui4e/formatting-issues-with-create-document-from-templa Accordingly, I enabled Markdown on my Google Doc web browser, pasted in the Markdown prompt to the Create Document function in a demo Lindy, and generated a document, but I still see the Markdown, without nice formatting … someone advise on what Im missing, please?
