Hello, I'm reaching out regarding a significant credit usage issue I experienced today. I'm a fan of your platform, but I wanted to bring this to your attention. During a test run, my Lindy agent consumed over 2,000 credits while executing a task incorrectly. The agent itself acknowledged the error in its execution. Given that this was a malfunction rather than intended usage, I'd like to request a credit reinstatement for this incident. I'm happy to provide any additional details or logs that would be helpful for your review. Thank you for your consideration. Best regards, Patrick
I just had the same issue ... except mine took about 8k credits for processing 20 emails - also experienced an error midway through. I just sent support a request for exactly the same...otherwise it's not a sustainable way of working. I was actually just testing the workflow - and it took all those credits in like 2 mins.
It feels not fair, a tool that is overpromising and underdelivering. It should be the other way around. If the tool act wrongfully, even admitting so. In my opinion that is a clear case justifying a refund for the credits
Hey Pat S., that's exactly how I felt - in fairness to the support team it looks like they've refunded a good junk of all the credits (not all, but I'm back to about 9.5k) - and they've sent me some support advice. Alon J. . I just saw another post about this though ... and the danger for Lindy here is that it feels like more than an "issue", but rather like a "leak"...users cannot build trust in the tool because a mistake can essentially cost you a month's worth of use of the tool. Or in my case - I am struggling to simply automate my inbox without running out of credits - and I was hoping to have multiple agents going simultaneously. Right now, even with 5-10k credits, it feels to me like I can have 1 or 2 agents only...if I don't make any mistakes. That seems very limiting
Hey Tom, yes that feels very limiting. I also hoped to have more agents running, it is after all 50 USD per month. Much more espensive than other tools around. Regarding the Inbox agent. I managed to reduce my excluding or including only certain email to trigger the agent. Hope that could help you, cheers, Pat
