Question - I need to send incoming emails that I am labeling with "New Business" to a Notion database. So far, so good, the tests work. However, when deployed, the manual labelling (which is essential) does not trigger lindy. Any feedback?
Hey Andreas -- Do you mind sending over the Task URL? I'll need to take a look at what is being passed π How to share your Lindy task URL: 1. Click your Lindy agent β click βtasksβ 2. Find the task you need help with 3. Click the specific task (you should see the full execution) 4. Copy that page URL from your browser 5. Paste the URL in your support request
The problem is that it doesn't create a task. Here's the workflow I need email comes in β reviewed by me I manually add label "New Business" β this action then should trigger lindy and move mail to Notion database The manual adding of the label does not trigger any action. What does work is: Filtering incoming emails to automatically be labeled as New Business - but that doesn't work for me as potential new biz emails come in all shapes and sizes.
Ah, sorry I misunderstood. Let me try to reproduce this!
Thanks - here's the current setup - I've read that manual label addition can be an issue for automation software
Ok got it!
You can use the 'New Labeled Email' trigger. This will trigger the flow based on the label you mention in the trigger. You won't need the email received trigger in this scenario!
Let me know if that helps!
I am sorry for being dense (I am still feeling my way around lindy) but where do I find the trigger setup?
Sorry, just understood your post. Got it!
No worries at all! Let me know if you have any other issues. Happy to help π
