Enabling AI Agents for Touch Tone Phone Calls: A Query

Q on phone calls - can the agent do touch calls? For example, when you call a dentist, their system might say "for our dentist in LA, press 1. For NYC, press 2". And then it'll go again, "for our LA North location, press 1" or "for our south LA location, press 2". I know ahead of time what the sequence of numbers are. Can I tell the AI agent somehow to follow those with touch tones?

Hey Thanh -- You can 🙂 If you're using an AI Agent, you'll need to use the Press Numbers skill. You'll just need to advise it exactly as you mentioned here!

Ah ok I didn't know that. Good to know for next time. I figured it out by using this prompt: 1. After the call connects, wait exactly **23 seconds**. 2. Send DTMF **“1”** (for appointments related needs) 3. Wait **15 seconds**. 4. Send DTMF **“1”** (for LA location)

That works too and obviously very specific to one phone number I'm calling. But the Press Number skill sounds more flexible, I'll try that too.
