Troubleshooting Lark M2S Mic with Lindy.ai on Android Browser
Hello all, new to the community. I’m a physician and regularly use Lindy.ai to document patient visits. Right now, I’m using the Hollyland Lark M2S mic plugged directly into my Android phone via USB-C. Since there’s no official Android app yet, I’m using the Lindy web app via browser. Problem: Lindy does not recognize the mic Here’s what I’ve tried:
Browsers: Chrome, Firefox, and Brave
Verified that all microphone permissions are enabled
Confirmed the Lark M2S mic works with other apps (e.g. voice memos, camera, etc.)
Issue: Lindy’s web interface doesn't recognize or activate the external mic—even though it’s functioning system-wide. It defaults to the internal mic or throws an error. Question: Is there any known workaround or browser setting tweak that allows USB mics like the Lark M2S to function with Lindy’s web interface on Android? Or do I have to wait for the official Android app to use external mics reliably? Would love any input from other users doing mobile recordings, especially if you’ve figured out how to pass external mic audio into Lindy on Android. Thanks!
