Issue with Creating .md Files in Google Drive

Can someone please just confirm for me that it’s not possible for Lindy to create .md files on Google Drive? Everything I try ends up creating a Google Doc instead, with the Doc name ending in “.md.gdoc”.

Hey Chris! Hmmm, I believe that's correct -- I will do some testing though and will get back to you if I figure out a hack 🙏

Thanks for following up Alon J.. It’s a bummer because I can see for instance that a text file creation is available for Dropbox, but so many of us Google Workspace people need to work with Drive. I’ve resorted to a Zapier workflow for now, since they offer a “Create File from Text” Drive module that works perfectly.
