Help Needed: Configuring Calendly API After Consuming 3K Credits

Thank you! Really just looking for help solving the API Configuration. I probably burned through more credits because I am not familiar with setting up APIs with different tools.

Hey Sabrina! It looks like the chat has been trying to connect Calendly via an HTTP Request. In this case, I would suggest manually heading into the flow editor and replacing the HTTP request action with a Calendly 'List Event' action. Please let me know if that helps or if you're trying to do something else 🙏

Great! When I try this will I be able to download the full transcript? I didn’t select any of the integrations because none of them seemed to reference transcripts. Perhaps I read them too fast.

Hey Sabrina -- If you're looking to record a meeting and get the transcript, you will need the 'record meeting' Lindy action. Calendly doesn't actually host meetings, it just schedules them on your respective meeting platform! Please let me know if that helps

The paid version that I have captures meeting recaps and transcripts. Is there not an integration for that? Do you have an integration for Zoom Transcripts? I could move my recording to that. If I use Lindy will it take tokens? I am trying avoid added costs for services I already have access to.

Ahh ok interesting! We don't have a Calendly action that allows you to download transcripts for that feature unfortunately. For Zoom, you can use any calendar even started trigger and use the Record Meeting action that I mentioned in the previous action! They will use tokens, yeah!

Knowing what we know now….is there a way you suggest solving this through an API with Calendly?

Hmmm -- I'm not familiar with the Calendly documentation. If they provide the ability to send a webhook when the calendly event starts, you could use a webhook trigger that will be able to recieve the information from Calendly. I would presume you could then use the same record meeting action!

Hey Sabrina, I think you are currently using Calendly AI notetaker. As it’s a beta feature and requires waitlist, I don’t think they expose an API endpoint for it yet. You may look into other logic like if you get the transcript in email and trigger it from there. If it’s not possible you will have to probably use another notetaker that has an API or native integration with Lindy. Hope it helps!
