Issue with YouTube Video Captions Not Available Error

Hi everyone, is anyone else having an error that says youtube video captions aren't available? i was testing with a youtube URL and it was working before, but now it is saying that same video doesn't have captions

Currently only works with english videos — our engineer will have a fix by tomorrow to support more languages!

Interesting! maybe the transcript in another language?! but yeah most languages should be supported now! 🤘🏾

Marvin A., I getting this error again for my lindy's. i have it set to transcribe after a 24 hour wait once a video is published but still saying that the captions won't load. is there a known bug?

yeah tested with a bunch of videos and talked to our engineers. unfortunately not much we can do here. The api sometimes does not offer the transcript and sometimes does. For most videos it was working for me..some did not though. Testing with one of your videos actually worked for me too

Yeah if i put it in manually it tends to work, but whenever i am using the "new video is posted" trigger, it fails

I don’t see any correlation to the trigger. It’s the same when only testing the action unfortunately

unfortunately no… that seems to be a limitation on the actual YT api.. I know there are some unofficial YT api’s you could use but haven’t tried them in a while
