Hi Lindy team! Apologies - this might be user error, but I've been finding that it takes A LOT of credits to do pretty basic things (like over 1000 credits for the Agent builder to build a 4 step Lindy). Does this feel pretty standard for everyone? Or am I doing something wrong? It just feels a bit untenable to keep using the agent builder because I needed to upgrade my plan in the middle of the Agent flow so I wouldn't run out of credits while the agent was working. Thank you so much for your help / advice in advance!
Depends on the action, and these are all just my experience: For something simple like write an email draft based on a provided template, it uses 1-2 credits for that. Sending a slack message is .5-.7 credits Anything with the agent action can easily use up a lot of credits if it needs to think or search the web a lot.
oh wow!! I feel like this is significantly lower than my Lindys-- I think it's because I (maybe needlessly?) have AI Agents in my Lindy's which might by why mine are so expensive? 🫠 I wonder if I could move to cheaper models (tho I tried GPT 4 mini with one and it did not work with the flow.) Thank you so much for the insights!! It's super helpful to hear what other users are experiencing. 🙏
Rachel L. what are the agent steps used for in your workflow? These are easily the most expensive components, so it's a good move to assess whether they are needed. I'm happy to take a look at your workflow and help you determine if there are less expensive ways to achieve your desired results.
