Mapping Values in Notion Database Updates with Previous Actions

👋 For the Notion database item to update, how can I map the value to a previous “Find database item” action? I’m only seeing a dropdown to choose a fixed item at configuration. Thanks!

Hey William! Ah, I see -- I haven't tested it out in this case, but a little hack would be to use an AI Agent with the 'Update Database Item' skill and in the 'Prompt' section mention to update the database base item found in the previous step Please let me know how that works out for you 🙏

Much appreciated, Alon J.! I need to avoid the extra token demand of an agent step. Any chance we can make this mappable? It’s standard in Zapier, Make, n8n, et al. I’m the creator of notion.vip and was very much looking forward to a post on Lindy!
