Improving Lindy Workflow to Display Full Email Newsletters

I've created a Lindy workflow to scan email newsletters for potential leads, but the AI Agent is consistently only able to see a small snippet upfront of the newsletter because "the email preview was truncated". In Gmail the email newsletter is not truncated. How do I set it up such that Lindy is able to view everything you're able to see in Gmail view?

How to share your Lindy task URL: 1. Click your Lindy agent → click “tasks” 2. Find the task you need help with 3. Click the specific task (you should see the full execution) 4. Copy that page URL from your browser 5. Paste the URL in your support request Note: The URL should include “task” followed by a number Screenshots are also helpful!

hey bernie! sorry for the late reply. looking at your agent, i think you already solved this by adding a get email step in between, which actually returns the full email, including the email thread. exactly what i would have suggested anyways. didn’t that solve your issue? if you open the get email card you’ll see the body as text field which shows you the whole email received

OK perfect I haven't had an email come in yet to fully test against but it sounds like in theory that change should have fixed it. Appreciate your confirm that this is the best solution Marvin A.!

Marvin A. the "Get Email" action appears to have broken -- it worked great for over a month and then a few days ago it's now error-ing out on tasks as only being able to pull preview of emails. Did something change?

Are you finding this is happening consistently with every email? I would try upping the model from Claude 3.5 sonnet -> Claude 4 Sonnet.
