I rebuilt my Lindy setup (5 agents + orchestration) over the weekend using Claude Code, n8n, and a $7 Hetzner VPS, switched iMessage to Telegram, did it mostly for fun.
Initial take: Lindy has cleaner UX and iMessage is a great channel, but Claude gives more control and lower cost.
Main downside: you own all integrations (Google OAuth, APIs, edge cases), which takes time.
For an average user without many workflows, economics are closer than it looks: Lindy $50 vs ~$27 base (Claude Code $20 + VPS $7) + tokens.
Iβll run it for a month and compare real token + infra cost vs Lindy subscription.
