Is Lindy Assistant Planned to Support Multiple Gmail Calendars Under One Account?

Hi, Alon J. is it on the roadmap to be able to have Lindy Assistant to check multiple calendars that you’ve created under one gmail account? For instance, most people create different calendars for different parts of our lives, ie Travel, personal, co-parenting, business meetings, health, etc. Currently Lindy Assistant can only read and work within the default gmail calendar my account has. This really doesn’t work when I’ve created a calendar to share with others and we work off of it, like the co-parenting calendar I created and share with my son’s dad. I’m having to make duplicates of all events in that calendar just so Lindy can read them, or if she schedules something, I have to duplicate it in my co-parenting calendar. It makes the calendar skill WAY less useful. Thanks!

A partial workaround would be if Lindy could create calendar events with color coding, that way people could see the different colors which is probably why most people create secondary calendars. That wouldn’t solve the issue of creating a calendar to share with someone who you don’t want having access to your whole calendar though.

You can do this today. I've done it. Tell your assistant you have multiple calendars under that email, she can load a skill to view them.

Are you doing this from iMessage? You’re showing me a screenshot from the app. Whenever I talk to her on iMessage about this exact thing, she tells me over and over that that’s a limitation of the platform and that she can only see my default calendar.

OK, that’s so weird! They must’ve just changed it because I asked her again just like I always do and again she said she couldn’t do it because of a limitation on the platform. Then I asked her to just try to add any skills she would need to add to do it, and then she added the skills and did it!

I started the convo in iMessage but continued it from the app. When building skills I like to see what's she’s doing. We don’t get much visibility into the config otherwise

Got it. Yes, she can now see my secondary calendars but there are a ton of bugs when she tries to do things with them. I’ve put together a support request. I spent around 1.5 hours yesterday troubleshooting with lindy simple things.
