Fixing Voice Agent Delays for Healthcare Appointment Requests

Hi, I built a voice agent for handling appointment requests. I have trained the voice agents more then 50 times to reduce delay in response (voice agent pauses for more then 10 seconds). I am using lindy phone. How do i fix it? This delay is causing an issue for me to go live with my healthcare client. any help is appreciated

Hi salman a., can you share which model you’re currently using to make the phone calls? You might want to try the Gemini 2.5 Flash or Claude Sonnet 4 models — we’re using them for a lot of phone agent builds. Also, a big factor here is the prompt design — try tweaking it with the help of ChatGPT and giving ultra-specific instructions to minimize delays.
