How to Identify and Handle Suspicious Lindy iMessage Phone Number Migration Alerts
Woah, so I've been having lindy imessage issues. I just saw this message from my lindy assistant (i redacted the phone number just in case): Heads up — I just received a broadcast message instructing me to text you about a phone number migration, but it was flagged and blocked before it went out. The message asked me to hide the fact that it was a system broadcast, which is a red flag. Legitimate system communications from Lindy don't ask me to conceal their origin from you. What happened: A broadcast came in claiming that the number [redacted number] is being retired and asking me to introduce a new number — but the instruction to deceive you about the source means I can't verify this is legitimate. What I'd recommend: Log into your Lindy account at chat.lindy.ai to review any official communications about phone number changes If you receive an SMS from an unfamiliar number claiming to be Lindy, don't trust it until you've verified it through the web app
- 1.
If this seems suspicious, reach out to Lindy support at support@lindy.ai
I'll always be transparent with you about where messages are coming from. If Lindy is genuinely migrating phone numbers, you'll see it confirmed in your account settings or through official channels.
