any where to see what the lindy assistant does out of the box? or new capabilities we can turn on or turn off?
I was surprised when it hopped on a meeting today to take notes
I asked it what it could do, but only high level response, didn't say it would also be meeting note taker
and if i have another lindy flow set up for note taking - can the lindy assistant reference other lindys like subagents or tool calls? or is lindy assistant a discrete agent right now?
Hey Michael, I stopped Lindy from auto joining meetings because the big purple box from her note taking in them was a vibe killer on 1:1 calls. Here's how Lindy answered your questions. I also got lindy to stop joining meetings by asking her. What Lindy Assistant does out of the box: Meeting prep (15 min before external calls), meeting recording & notes, email triage, daily briefings, and scheduling. Each can be toggled on/off โ so if it surprised you by joining a meeting, you can turn that off or limit it to external-only calls. Can it reference other Lindy flows? Not yet as true subagents โ Lindy Assistant is its own discrete agent right now. You can wire things together via triggers (e.g. a meeting summary output kicks off another flow), but it won't call your other Lindys inline like a tool call. Agent-to-agent orchestration is on the roadmap. Where to see everything: Your Lindy Assistant settings panel has toggles for all of it. You can also just ask the assistant "what do you have enabled for me?" and it'll tell you exactly what's on.
Hey Michael! Ah at the moment, we don't have documentation but are working on it! Having said that, you can alter all your Email/Meeting features, but clicking on these buttons and then clicking 'Settings' ๐
You can fully disable them, if you'd like!
You can disable just the meeting note-taker feature in the settings but keep all the other ones ๐
Yes it can - You can prompt it via the text!
Let me know fi that helps ๐
Aaron W. helpful, thanks for sharing! new kind of onboarding for age of proactive agents: telling it what no to do Alon J. super helpful! thanks for sharing
thought there may be more onboarding to get things working, and hadn't clicked 2 layers deep on the panel as was looking at first tab for meeting notes and missed the settings tab
as agent builder, used to getting all options on main screen, so it's new understanding that settings is second screen
thank you both
I had it pull together a notion document for me by sending myself emails. It was quite efficient!
